After an early exit last week in Rotterdam as the number one seed, Medvedev quickly broke his 2 match losing streak to put away big serving Gerasimov in the 2nd round. In what could have been a dangerous matchup, Meddy looked like himself again winning the match in a little over an hour. The serve was the difference for the Russian who served 6 aces and did not give up a break point while converting 3/4 of his own and will need to take his chances against the Italian Sinner.
