1. Nadia PODOROSKA (#45)

Podoroska will enter this WTA250 event as the top seed for the first time in her career on the WTA Tour and that will come with added pressure and expectations. However, she has made 2 Quarter Finals on hard court over the past 6 months and as the top seed will be looking to make at least the semi final of this event.

2. Marie BOUZKOVA (#50)

Bouzkova has started the 2021 season with a 7/3 win loss record (all on hard court) and is coming off her second WTA Tour final at the Phillip Island Trophy. At that event she took out Bianca Andreescu, overcoming match points to beat the 2019 US Open Champion and will be looking to continue her form this week in Mexico

3. Eugenie BOUCHARD (#87)

Bouchard has struggled so far in 2021 and her confidence was dented by losing in the second round of qualifying for the Australian Open 2021. After a first round loss in Lyon last week, Genie will be looking to make the most of her wildcard entry and on paper has a favourable draw with 8th seed Juvan the only obstacle to a possible quarter final run.

Prediction = Marie BOUZKOVA
